I read with interest all your blog entries. One part of this one here alludes to the fact that Japan & Korea sent their people overseas for years to learn, and not merely on “study tours”.

Malaysia also did. I guess you and I are among the lucky participants. We went away for quite a number of years. I was away for 5 years and yes, some were away for many more years.

What do you make of this? Do we bring back something of good to the country or many of us were merely wasting taxpayers money?
