It is no more funny. Grow up man, grow up. Don’t behave like a suicide bomber. If you want to die, just go ahead and no one is stopping you but never become an agent of those corrupted bastards.

If we choose to remain silent and condone their corrupt practices, we will all wake up one day and find that they own us and we are answerable to our ‘umno moral guardians’ for our way of life, our way of dressing, the food we consume and who should join us in our traditional festivities.

Today this country is flooded with thousands of unemployable graduates(YES, Dr Mahathir just claimed, we are the most successful developing nation in the world!) - the same scenario of India decades ago which I would never had imagined would ever happen here.

Look at us 50 years on, half a century of Independence from the British and this is as far as we get. We have successfully churned out a bunch of corrupted morons to rule this country!

We owe it to our children and their children thereafter, for a fair, peaceful, tolerant and multiracial Malaysia in every sense of the word. Let us speak out, stand up and be counted.

If that doesn’t sink into your thick skull, I really don’t know what will.

I am concerned that we too can suffer the same fate as this German, if we continue to remain indifferent, silent, just sit back and let it all happen. Let us hope that I am pessimistic.

Bloggers United is making our politicians shiver in their air conditioned offices, homes, and Benz. Kudos to Bakri, Farish Noor, Raja Petra, Jeff Ooi, Steven Gan, Nathaniel Tan, Citizen Nades (of the Sun), Rockybru, Desi YLChong, Johnleemk and others of the 5th Estate. They are united for an open and tolerant Malaysian society.

I think their game plan is simple. It is to provide information and alternative perspectives to the incessant propaganda we get daily from our radio, television and mainstream media. Malaysians must learn to think for themselves.

It is working. The political establishment is jittery. The fact that the Badawi Government and UMNO are resorting to the use of draconian laws shows that they cannot take the “accountability heat”. Even their agent bloggers including apologist Nazri Aziz have no effect. How can anyone, no matter how smart or sycophantic, defend a Government that condones corruption and protect its corrupt officials and party leaders?

I am not Malay and i do not think such failings of people like double M is representative of Malays. I know of many good Malays around including people like yourself, RPK, Farish Noor, etc. Double M’s misbehavior is just plain human greed fueled by a corrupt system that encourages such type of depraved behavior. He is not the first nor will he be the last until and unless there emerge a leader in UMNO that is clean and has the courage, strength and integrity to purge scourge such as this.

Sadly there is no such person in UMNO at present and in the forseeable future. That is the sad part.
