It is good to see that finally there is the beginning of some support for the re-introduction of English in our education system. But we must not stop at the teaching of science subjects only. The long term policy must be the use of English in the entire system - with Bahasa a compulsory subject at least until the graduate level. Only then will we be able to aspire to raise the education standard of our younger generation and to equip them for the future.
